Mother's perspective

I don’t know what is going on with Ali. He is acting so different, and it is like him and Parvez are just drifting apart. They have always been so close. Maybe it is just a fase, Ali becoming a teenager. I fear that it is something more serious and not just a fase. I don’t assume that other teenage boys throw out their stuff and clothes and start skipping school. But what do I know? Parvez has been kind of absent as well lately, but I am sure he will have a talk with Ali soon. All those years of a good father and son relationship can’t just be completely gone.
